Ingredients

  • 1 lb elbow macaroni (or whatever you have on hand, I usually use penne)
  • 34 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 dash pepper
  • 1 dash cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 2 cups grated cheese (I use medium cheddar)
  • 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese

Directions

    Cook macaroni until al dente, drain.

    In pan melt butter, add milk & bring to a low boil.
  3. 3
    Add flour and stir until milk thickens.
  4. 4
    Add peppers.

    Turn stove heat to medium-low and add in cheese, stir until they are melted and incorporated into milk mixture.

    Remove from heat.

    Add pasta and stir until coated.
