  • 3/4 c. buttermilk
  • 5 eggs (large), beaten
  • 1 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 (7 or 8 oz.) can or pkg. flaked coconut
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 unbaked 8-inch pie shells
