Easy Microwaved Shumai

- 1 bag Shumai skins
- 300 grams Minced pork
- 1/2 Onion
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Katakuriko
- 1 tbsp Sake
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Sesame oil
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1 Cabbage
Directions

1Put pork, minced onion, and all ingredients into a plastic bag and rub thoroughly.

2Shred the cabbage into thick strips.

3Spread thinly on a serving plate without draining the excess water from rinsing.

4Now, to wrap up the shumai!

5Make a circle with your hand as above.

6Place the shumai skin on top.

7Then fill it with mixed ingredients from step 1.

8Align the dumplings on the cabbage and cover loosely with plastic wrap.

9Microwave for about 5 minutes on high, and enjoy.

10Because the skin dries up easily, make sure to remove the plastic wrap right before serving.

11Serve with vinegar and soy sauce, Japanese mustard, ponzu sauce, or any sauce of your liking.
