Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 lb. sweet Italian sausage, cut into pieces
  • 1 or 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 (28 oz.) or 2 (1 lb.) cans tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans, undrained
  • 1 (12 oz.) can whole kernel corn, undrained
  • 1 c. sliced celery
  • 1 c. shredded cabbage
  • 2 c. sliced zucchini
  • 1 c. uncooked pasta
  • 2 c. water
  • 1/2 c. dry red wine or water
  • 2 heaping tsp. instant beef bouillon
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Italian herb seasoning
  • 1 chopped green pepper

Directions

    Cook and stir ground beef, sausage, onion and garlic in heavy pan until meat is browned.

    Drain.

    Stir in tomatoes, kidney beans, corn and remaining ingredients except pasta.

    Cook and stir about 30 minutes.

    Add pasta and cook until it's tender.

    Serve with Parmesan cheese.
