- 1 1/2 lb. stew beef
- 3 or 4 carrots
- 2 or 3 stalks celery
- 1 onion
- 3 or 4 small potatoes
- 2 c. V-8 or tomato juice
- 2 Tbsp. tapioca or cornstarch
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Mix tapioca or cornstarch with V-8 or tomato juice.

2Cut vegetables and meat to bite size.

3Place meat and vegetables in oven-safe dish.

4Bake, covered, at 350° for 2 1/3 to 3 hours.
