Ingredients

  • 2 lb. beef, cut in 1-inch cubes
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. paprika
  • 1 c. water
  • 4 small onions, quartered
  • 4 small carrots, cut in 1-inch pieces
  • 4 small potatoes, pared and halved
  • 1 can tomato sauce

Directions

    Combine flour, salt, pepper and paprika in plastic bag.

    Drop in beef and shake until coated.

    Mix with 2 tablespoons oil in 3-quart casserole.

    Bake, uncovered, at 400° for 30 minutes, stirring once.

    Add vegetables, water and tomato sauce.

    Mix well. Cover and bake at 350° for 1 3/4 hours or until done.
