Ingredients
- 1 lb. lean beef stew meat, cut in 1-inch pieces
- 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can Hunt's whole potatoes
- 1 medium onion, cut in chunks
- 3 carrots, cut in 1-inch chunks
- 2 celery stalks, cut in thick chunks
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1/4 c. beef broth
- 1 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. each: Italian seasoning, salt and pepper
Directions

1In Dutch oven, combine meat, potatoes, onion, carrot and celery.

2In small bowl, mix remaining ingredients.

3Pour sauce over meat and potatoes.

4Mix well.

5Bake, covered, at 300° for 2 1/2 to 3 hours or until meat is tender.
