- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. butter, softened
- 4 eggs
- 2 c. self-rising flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 3 c. ground pecans
Directions

1Cream sugar and butter in bowl until light and fluffy.

2Add eggs; mix well.

3Stir in flour, vanilla and pecans.

4Pour into greased and floured tube pan.

5Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until cake tests done.

6Cool on wire rack for 10 minutes.

7Turn onto cake plate.
