- 1 cup butter, softened
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 2 cups unsifted all-purpose flour
- 2 cups chopped pecans
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- powdered sugar
Directions

1Preheat oven to 275 degrees.

2In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar.

3Sift flour 3 times and blend into butter mixture.

4Add nuts and vanilla.

5Roll into balls about 1 inch in diameter.

6Place on baking sheet and bake for 1 hour.

7While still warm, roll in powdered sugar.

8Roll again in powdered sugar when cooled.

9Store in tightly covered container.
