  • 3 cup flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cup vegetable shortening
  • 1 egg
  • 5 tbsp cold water
  • 1 tbsp distilled white vinegar

    Combine flour and salt in a bowl

    Add shortening .

    Mix till it looks like crumbs .

    Beat 1 egg and add to mixture,

    Next add in the cold water and vinegar mix well till combined.

    Makes 2 crusts for one whole pie or 2 country rustic flat pies.

    On a floured counter roll out the crust.
