- 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
- 1 large can unsweetened crushed pineapple
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1 pkg. powdered sugar
Directions

1Cook cake mix as directed, using a 9 x 13-inch pan.

2Cool slightly.

3Heat pineapple (undrained) with 1/2 cup sugar until sugar is melted.

4Pour pineapple mixture over cake.

5Mix the cream cheese and powdered sugar in small mixing bowl.

6You may need to mix 1 to 2 tablespoons of water for spreading consistency.

7Spread cream cheese frosting on cake; refrigerate.
