- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 4 lb. chuck roast
- 1 pkg. Lipton onion-mushroom soup mix
- 2 c. water
Directions

1Brown beef in hot oil in a 5-quart Dutch oven.

2Add soup mix and water; bring to a boil.

3Reduce heat and simmer for 4 hours. Vegetables may be added (potatoes, carrots and onions) if desired after 3 hours.

4You cannot overcook this beef.

5Add water, if necessary, during cooking.

6I make gravy by adding flour mixed with water to liquid after removing meat.
