Easy Prune Cake

- 2 c. sifted self-rising flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. cloves
- 1 c. oil
- 3 eggs
- 2 (4 oz.) jars baby food prunes
- 1 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1Combine flour, sugar, cinnamon and cloves in large mixer bowl; mix well.

2Add oil, eggs and prunes; beat well.

3Stir in pecans. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch cake pan.

4Bake at 325° for 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

5Cover with foil immediately.

6May drizzle with favorite glaze, if desired.

7This cake freezes well.

8Cake will be moister if placed in freezer while still hot.
