  • 1 lb chicken breast, boneless, skinless
  • 1 (15 ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 (8 ounce) can salsa verde
  • 1 (1 1/4 ounce) package taco seasoning
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 chicken bouillon cube

Directions

    Add bouillan cube to hot water and dissolve in a 1-quart saucepan.

    Add chicken breasts to pan and boil until cooked throughout.

    Shred chicken in pan while retaining juices.

    Add taco seasoning, diced tomatoes and salsa verde to chicken; simmer for 20 minutes.

    Serve with cheese, tortillas/chips, sour cream and/or lettuce.
