- 1 qt. milk
- 4 Tbsp. raw rice
- 1/3 c. sugar
- small piece of butter
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- pinch of salt
- 1/2 c. seedless raisins (if desired)
Directions

1Combine in buttered bowl the milk, rice, sugar and butter. Cook very slowly at least 2 hours at 325° in oven.

2Stir pudding down every half hour while it is baking.

3Add salt.

4Add raisins and nutmeg and bake another half hour.

5Pudding thickens after removing from oven.
