Ingredients
- 1 (6 to 8 lb.) boneless chuck roast (frozen)
- 1 pkg. onion soup mix
- 1 to 2 small cans mushroom steak sauce/gravy
- salt
- pepper
- seasoned salt
Directions

1Place roast (frozen okay) in 9 x 13-inch or larger pan.

2Use salt, pepper and seasoned salt as desired.

3Sprinkle onion soup mix over top.

4Pour mushroom sauce over top of roast and in pan.

5Rinse can with water and pour in bottom of pan.

6Cover with foil.

7Bake 6 to 7 hours at 325° if frozen, less if not frozen (test for doneness after 4 hours).

8Use juice for gravy.
