- 3/4 lb. ground round
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
- 2 (8 oz.) tomato sauce
- 2 c. water
- 3/4 c. uncooked brown rice
- 2 tsp. chili powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 (15 oz.) whole kernel corn, drained
Directions

1Lightly brown meat in Dutch oven.

2Add onion and pepper; cook until tender.

3Add tomato sauce and water; bring to a boil.

4Stir in brown rice, chili powder, salt and pepper.

5Reduce heat, cover and simmer 50 minutes.

6Stir in corn and additional water, if needed.

7Cover and cook 10 minutes.

8Makes 6 (1 cup) servings. Contains 4 grams fat per serving.
