Ingredients
- 2 strips bacon
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 large onions, sliced
- 2 medium potatoes, peeled
- 1 green pepper
- 4 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 c. shredded cabbage
- 1 c. celery
- 2 medium tomatoes, peeled and quartered or 1 c. canned tomatoes
Directions

1Cut bacon into 1/2-inch pieces.

2Place in large skillet and pan-fry until crisp.

3Add ground beef and onion slices; cook until meat is brown and onion is tender.

4Cut potatoes and green pepper in julienne strips; reserve.

5Stir soy sauce and water into hot meat mixture.

6Add prepared vegetables; mix thoroughly.

7Cover and cook over high flame until steam escapes.

8Then turn to simmer and cook 15 minutes.

9Makes 4 servings.
