Easy Slow Cooker Pulled Chicken

  • 1 package boneless chicken breasts (3 large)
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 1 28oz can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp cumin
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cayenne
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • juice of 1/2 lime (optional, but I love the limey flavor!)

Directions

    Place onion in bottom of the slow cooker, add the chicken, and pour the lime juice and crushed tomatoes on top.

    Add all the seasonings, and mix everything to combine.

    Cook on low for 6 hours.

    With two forks shred chicken breasts and mix well.
