Easy Spaghetti Marinara

- 8 ounces spaghetti
- 3 cloves garlic, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
- 1/4 minced onion
- 1 (28 ounce) can tomatoes, undrained
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil
Directions

1Cook spaghetti according to box directions, drain well.

2Meanwhile, in lg saucepan, over med heat, saute garlic in oil for 2 minutes.

3Add parsley, onion, tomatoes, bay leaves, salt and pepper.

4Bring to a boil.

5Reduce heat, cover and simmer 15 minutes.

6Add basil, serve over spaghetti.
