- 1 cup firmly packed light-brown sugar
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- Pinch salt
Directions

1Heat the brown sugar, corn syrup, and butter in a small saucepan, and cook over medium-low heat, stirring, until the sugar is dissolved.

2Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring constantly.

5Serve the sauce warm or at room temperature over ice cream.
