  • 1 pkg. dry yeast
  • 2 c. warm water
  • 1/4 c. sugar or 1/8 c. honey
  • 3/4 c. oil
  • 1 egg
  • 4 c. self-rising flour

Directions

    Dissolve yeast in warm water.

    Mix yeast, sugar, oil, egg and flour.

    Place in tightly covered bowl and refrigerate.

    Spoon into muffin tins and bake at 400° for 5 minutes.

    Never stir down the remaining batter and be sure to keep covered.

    Will keep in refrigerator for 5 to 7 days.
