- 2 (8 oz.) cans mushrooms, drained
- 1 1/2 to 2 lb. sirloin or chuck roast
- 1 can tomato juice
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup (undiluted)
- 8 oz. sour cream
- 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
Directions

1Cut meat in strips.

2Brown in oil.

3Add tomato juice and mushrooms.

4Cover and simmer until liquid is almost gone.

5Add soup and simmer 10 minutes.

6Stir in sour cream and simmer 10 minutes.

7Salt and pepper to taste.

8Serve over egg noodles.
