  • 2 (8 oz.) cans mushrooms, drained
  • 1 1/2 to 2 lb. sirloin or chuck roast
  • 1 can tomato juice
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup (undiluted)
  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp. cooking oil

Directions

    Cut meat in strips.

    Brown in oil.

    Add tomato juice and mushrooms.

    Cover and simmer until liquid is almost gone.

    Add soup and simmer 10 minutes.

    Stir in sour cream and simmer 10 minutes.

    Salt and pepper to taste.

    Serve over egg noodles.
