Easy Stuffed Peppers

Ingredients
- 4 medium green peppers
- 2 c. cooked leftover meat, ground (I use 1 lb. hamburger)
- 3/4 c. soft bread crumbs (I use 3/4 c. cooked rice)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 2 Tbsp. minced onion
- 1 can tomato soup
Directions

1Remove tops and seeds from peppers.

2Steam shells about 5 minutes.

3Combine remaining ingredients using only one-half can of soup.

4Mix well.

5Fill peppers with stuffing.

6Place in shallow baking pan.

7Bake 30 minutes.

8Remove from oven and pour remaining half of soup over peppers.

9Return to oven and continue baking 15 minutes.

10Serves 4.

11Fill the halves and bake them uncovered.
