Easy Venison Roast

  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 1 (3 to 4 lb.) venison roast
  • salt
  • 1 tsp. lemon pepper marinade
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 1 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 3 cloves garlic, quartered
  • 1 small onion, chopped

Directions

    Combine vinegar and 2 quarts water.

    Add roast.

    Soak overnight.

    Rinse well.

    Soak in salted water for 2 hours.

    Rinse. Combine 1 teaspoon salt, lemon pepper marinade, oregano and seasoned salt.

    Rub on roast.

    Cover with garlic and onion.

    Place in a slow cooker.

    Add 1/4 to 1/3 cup water.

    Cook on low setting for 6 to 8 hours.
