- 6 to 6 1/2 c. flour, divided
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. salt (scant)
- 2 Tbsp. yeast
- 2 1/4 c. milk
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
- 1 egg
Directions

1Combine 2 cups flour, the sugar, salt and yeast in large bowl. Heat the milk and vegetable oil to 120°.

2Add egg to flour and warm liquid.

3Beat until smooth.

4Add 4 to 4 1/2 more cups flour; mix until a smooth dough.

5Let rise 45 minutes.

6Put into 2 large greased bread pans.

7Let rise again, 20 to 30 minutes.

8Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
