- 1 envelope dry yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 1/2 c. hot water
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/3 c. vegetable shortening
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 3 c. bread flour
Directions

1Soften yeast in warm water.

2Mix hot water and milk.

3When it is lukewarm, add shortening, sugar, salt and yeast.

4Stir in 2 1/2 cups flour and the other half cup, if needed.

5Dough should not be too stiff.

6When mixed, cover bowl firmly and place in refrigerator for several hours or 2 or 3 days.

7Form into rolls; let rise and bake at 375°.
