- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. warm water
- 4 to 5 c. plain flour
Directions

1Mix yeast with 1/4 cup of warm water.

2Set aside.

3Cream sugar and Crisco.

4Add egg.

5Stir in the 1 cup of water.

6Add yeast. Stir in flour.

7Put in a large bowl.

8Let rise in warm place until double.

9Punch down and shape into rolls.

10Let rise until double in bulk.

11Bake at 425° for 12 to 15 minutes.
