Easy Yeast Rolls

- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 1/4 c. milk
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/4 lb. plus 4 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 Tbsp. salt
- 3 c. flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup warm water and set aside.

2In saucepan add milk, sugar, butter and salt.

3Heat until butter is melted.

4Cool until lukewarm, then add yeast mixture and flour and stir.

5Cover and let stand 15 minutes in a warm place.

6Place dough on floured surface and pat out until 3/4 inch thick.

7Cut with a glass.

8Add a pat of butter to each roll and fold over. Let stand 15 minutes, then bake for 10 minutes at 425°.

9Makes 24 to 28 rolls.
