- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 large chopped onion or minced onion
- 1 stalk celery, grated
- 1 large can whole tomatoes
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. egg noodles
- 1/2 tsp. chili powder
- dash of red pepper
Directions

1Cook noodles 10 minutes.

2Drain; cook celery and tomatoes together.

3Brown meat and onion.

4Place all in casserole adding salt, pepper and red pepper.

5Add chili powder.

6Let simmer in oven at 250° for 2 hours covered.

7Serves 6. Sprinkle cheese on top, if desired.
