  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 large chopped onion or minced onion
  • 1 stalk celery, grated
  • 1 large can whole tomatoes
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. egg noodles
  • 1/2 tsp. chili powder
  • dash of red pepper

Directions

    Cook noodles 10 minutes.

    Drain; cook celery and tomatoes together.

    Brown meat and onion.
  4. 4
    Place all in casserole adding salt, pepper and red pepper.

    Add chili powder.

    Let simmer in oven at 250° for 2 hours covered.

    Serves 6. Sprinkle cheese on top, if desired.
