- 4 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. butter, chilled
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
Directions

1Heat oven to 400°.

2Sift flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. Cut in butter until coarse crumbs.

3Stir in milk and egg.

4Place on floured surface.

5Knead 2 times and roll 1/2-inch thick.

6Cut with 2-inch cutter.

7Bake 12 to 15 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet.
