  • 6 slices bread, dried and cubed
  • 1 lb. hamburger or sausage, cubed
  • 1/2 lb. sharp or medium Cheddar cheese
  • 3 eggs*
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 lb. or 1/2 c. oleo, melted
  • 4 medium cubed potatoes
  • mushrooms to taste

Directions

    Butter 9 x 13-inch glass dish.

    Mix bread, meat, cheese and veggies together and put in dish.

    Beat eggs, milk, mustard, salt and pepper.

    Pour over mixture.

    Melt oleo and pour over mixture. Cover with foil and refrigerate 6 to 7 hours or overnight.
