Ingredients

  • 2 lb. sausage
  • chopped green onions, green peppers, mushrooms (optional)
  • 1 1/2 c. to 1 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 6 slices bread, torn into small pieces
  • 12 eggs
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. salt

Directions

    Cook and drain sausage.

    Put in bottom of a 13 x 9-inch pan. Mix together remaining ingredients and pour over sausage. Refrigerate overnight.

    Bake the next morning at 350° for 30 minutes or until center is done.
