  • 1 1/2 lb. pork sausage
  • 3 c. milk
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese
  • 9 eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 tsp. mustard
  • 6 to 8 slices bread, cut into 1/2-inch cubes

    Cook and drain sausage.

    Layer bread, sausage and 3/4 cup of cheese into a 10 x 14-inch pan.

    Mix milk, salt, eggs, mustard and rest of cheese.

    Pour over layers.

    Cover and place in 350° oven for 1 hour.
