- 8 slices white bread
- 8 eggs, beaten (can use Egg Beaters)
- 4 c. milk or low-fat milk
- 1 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 lb. bacon, fried crisp or turkey bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Remove crusts from bread.

2Cut bread into cubes.

3Spread in a 9 x 13-inch buttered baking dish.

4Combine eggs and milk in a large bowl.

5Mix well.

6Pour over bread cubes.

7Sprinkle with cheese and seasoning.

8Cover.

9Refrigerate overnight.

10Sprinkle with crumbled bacon.

11Bake at 350° for 1 hour.

12Serve immediately.
