Ingredients
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 1/4 c. milk
- 1 c. shredded sharp cheese
- 6 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
- 1 1/2 c. coarsely crushed potato chips
- 6 slices bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
Directions

1Cook onion in butter until tender.

2Blend in flour and add milk.

3Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens.

4Add cheese and stir until melted.

5Place layer of egg slices in a 10 x 6 x 1 1/2-inch baking dish.

6Cover with half of the cheese sauce, then half the chips and half the bacon.

7Repeat layers.

8Bake in a 350° preheated oven for about 30 minutes.

9Makes 8 servings.
