- 4 slices bacon
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/2 lb. chipped beef
- 1 or 2 (4 oz.) cans mushrooms, drained
- 1 qt. milk
- 16 eggs
- 1 c. evaporated milk
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. melted butter
Directions

1Saute bacon; drain.

2Place beef, butter and mushrooms in skillet; saute slightly.

3Sprinkle with flour and pepper.

4Add the milk; cook until thick.

5Beat together until creamy the eggs, evaporated milk, salt and melted butter.

6Alternate layers of eggs and sauce.

7Bake at 275° for 1 hour.
