- 12 slices white bread
- 8 oz. American cheese slices
- 1/2 c. melted margarine
- 8 eggs
- 2 c. half and half
- 1 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
- 2 tsp. mustard
- 8 slices cooked and crushed bacon
Directions

1Cut crust from bread and cut into quarters.

2Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.

3Place alternately bread and cheese (2 layers each). Pour melted margarine over cheese and bread.

4Beat eggs until light.

5Add salt, half and half and mustard.

6Pour mixture over bread and cheese.

7Cover and let set in refrigerator overnight. Before baking, sprinkle bacon on top.

8Bake at 325° for 1 hour or until brown.

9Serves 6 to 8.
