- 5 eggs
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. vanilla
- 3 Tbsp. melted butter
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- dash of salt
Directions

1Beat eggs until foamy.

2Add sugar; add milk and beat well. Add butter, vanilla, nutmeg and salt.

3Pour into unbaked pie shell.

4Bake 30 minutes exactly at 400°.

5If filling is still soft in middle, it will get firm after removing from oven.

6If oven temperature is correct, this recipe always bakes perfectly.
