  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/4 stick margarine or butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 (9 to 10-inch) unbaked pie shell
  • dash of nutmeg

Directions

    Mix well the sugar, butter, vanilla and milk; bring to a boil. Beat eggs in mixer real well.

    When milk mixture comes to a boil, pour slowly over eggs, beating while pouring into pie shell. Sprinkle with nutmeg.

    Bake at 350° approximately 45 minutes or until crust sets.
