- 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 1/2 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 9-inch pie crust
Directions

1Slightly beat eggs.

2Add sugar, milk (substitute part with half and half or evaporated milk).

3Add vanilla and salt.

4Put in crust. Sprinkle with nutmeg.

5Bake in hot oven (400°) for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 300° and bake until firm or when knife blade placed in center comes out clean, approximately 1 hour.
