- 4 eggs
- 1/2 Tbsp. nutmeg
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 2 c. milk, scalded
- 2 Tbsp. melted butter
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
Directions

1Beat eggs together until light colored and creamy; add nutmeg. Mix sugar and flour.

2Pour milk over flour mixture; beat well. Add eggs and butter.

3Pour into pie shell.

4Bake in preheated 400° oven for 10 minutes.

5Lower temperature to 350°.

6Bake for about 30 minutes longer.
