  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell

Directions

    Mix eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla.

    Stir in hot milk.

    Pour into unbaked pie shell.

    (Dash top with nutmeg, if desired.)

    Bake in hot oven at 475° for 5 minutes, then reduce heat to 425° and bake for 10 minutes.
