  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 5 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 2 unbaked pastry shells
  • 6 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 3 c. milk
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. butter, melted

Directions

    Mix sugar, flour and nutmeg. Stir into beaten eggs and milk. Add melted butter and stir thoroughly. Pour into pastry shells and sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake at 400° for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350° and bake until done (about 30 to 35 minutes). Makes 2 pies.
