- 4 large eggs, well beaten
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Mix together the eggs, sugar, salt, nutmeg, milk and vanilla. Pour into deep 10-inch pastry-lined pie pan.

2Bake 15 minutes at 450°.

3Lower heat to 325° and bake 35 minutes more.

4Test with knife blade in center.

5If it comes out clean, pie is done.
