  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 1/2 c. scalded milk or half and half
  • dash of salt

Directions

    Beat together eggs, sugar and vanilla.

    Add salt and milk. Pour into 9-inch unbaked pie shell.

    Bake at 475° for 5 minutes. Reduce heat to 425° for 15 minutes or until custard is set.
