- 6 cups Water
- 1-1/2 cup Uncooked Grits (not Instant)
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning
- 2 teaspoons Dried Onion
- 2 teaspoons Garlic Salt
- 4 ounces, weight Margarine
- 1 can (7 Oz. Size) Chopped Green Chiles, Undrained
- 5 whole Eggs, Beaten
- 1 pound Shredded Cheddar, Divided
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9x12 casserole.

2Boil water, add grits, reduce heat to medium-low and stir until thickened (10-12 minutes). Stir in seasonings, margarine, chiles and beaten eggs. Stir and cook 2-3 minutes.

3Stir in half of the cheese. Pour into the casserole dish. Top with the remaining cheese.

4Bake 40 minutes.
