- 12 pieces loaf bread, buttered on both sides
- 1 lb. pork sausage, browned and drained
- 1 lb. Cheddar cheese
- 8 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Place 6 pieces of buttered bread on bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan.

2Sprinkle with 1/2 sausage and then cover with 1/2 of cheese. Repeat layer one.

3Beat eggs, milk, salt and pepper.

4Pour over layers and cover.

5Set in refrigerator for at least 3 hours, but best to set overnight.

6Bake at 350° until browned.
