  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 7 Tbsp. chicken stock
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. sake (sweet rice wine)
  • 1/4 tsp. monosodium glutamate
  • 10 to 12 frozen green peas

Directions

    Mix all ingredients thoroughly with mixer, except for the frozen green peas.

    Heat small square electric skillet to 325°. Oil lightly.

    Pour mixture into skillet until egg starts to firm. Sprinkle a few frozen green peas on top of egg mixture.

    Starting closest to you, roll the egg away from you like a jelly roll, using 2 spatulas.

    Cool slightly in pan to shape.

    Place on cutting board.

    Slice 1/4-inch thick.
