Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 c. chopped onions
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 1 egg
  • 1 pkg. slaw mix or 1 head cabbage, chopped
  • 1/3 c. soy sauce
  • 1/3 c. brown sugar
  • 3 doz. egg roll wrappers

Directions

    Brown beef and drain.

    Mix all other ingredients in 5-quart saucepan.

    Add ground beef and cook until cabbage is tender, then drain.

    Take 1/4 cup of mix and place in corner of one egg roll wrapper.

    Roll wrapper to corner.

    Fold over opposite ends. Continue rolling.

    Dab water on edges to seal.

    Deep fry until golden brown.
